Building an online presence requires you to be two things and two things alone:
Consistent: Post regularly. It does not matter the schedule but stick to it once you have determined what works best for you and your resources.
Persistent: Don’t back down. Keep at it even when you aren’t getting the results you want. You will get them over time.
There are so many and varied ways to add to the real estate you occupy online and everything you do, every post, video, blog, podcast, and directory listing, adds to the whole.
If it’s too much to do on your own
- Get help: hire someone, assign the task to someone in your company or hire an outside organization.
- Use online tools: examples are Hootsuite and Buffer for social management, Canva to simplify creating posts, Trello for project management, etc.
If you are persistent you will get it. If you are consistent you will keep it.
